Hyperbaric Director, Founder – DMS, EMT, CHS

Erika Jordan is the proud owner of Hyperbaric Healing Treatment Center. Erika is a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer who graduated from Cambridge College of Healthcare & Technology in Delray Beach, FL. She is also an Emergency Medical Technician with a degree from Palm Beach State College, and a Certified Hyperbaric Specialist with The American Board of Wound Healing (ABWH).

As a Hyperbaric Safety Director, she also has additional training in Transcutaneous Oxygen Monitoring, and Inspection, Maintenance, and Documentation of Hyperbaric Chamber Acrylics. Erika started her career as a Hyperbaric Chamber Operator at a private hyperbaric oxygen facility in Delray Beach, FL. She quickly rose from Hyperbaric Chamber Operator to the Facility Manager and Safety Director. While employed at that facility, she treated patients for a wide range of diagnoses such as:

  • Migraines
  • Multiple Sclerosis
  • Near Drowning
  • Neurological Conditions
  • Pearson’s Syndrome
  • Pre- & Post-surgical
  • Recovery from Plastic Surgery
  • Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy
  • Sports-related injuries from Professional Athletes associated with the: NFL, NHL, POLO, PGA, and Professional Waterskiers
  • Stroke
  • Vasculitis
  • Veterans with TBI/PTSD
  • Arthritis
  • Avascular Necrosis
  • Chemical / Pesticide Poisoning
  • Children with various illnesses
  • Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
  • Crohn’s Disease
  • Circulation related conditions
  • Concussions
  • Drug Addiction
  • Fibromyalgia
  • Guillain-Barre Syndrome
  • Hypoxic Birth Disorders
  • Idiopathic Hearing Loss
  • Lyme Disease
  • Meniere’s Disease

After working at this facility, Erika then moved closer to her hometown near Orlando to be with family. While in Central Florida, she ran multiple hospital-affiliated facilities as their Senior Hyperbaric Safety Specialist. At these facilities, she was limited to only treating 14 insurance-approved indications. From working in the hospital setting, Erika soon realized the disadvantage those centers presented. Many patients had to be turned away from receiving hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) for not falling within their narrow treatment guidelines.

With her background from working in a private clinic, Erika turned her frustration from the lack of treatment opportunities into the goal of offering HBOT to all patients in a cost-effective manner. With this goal in mind, Erika opened Hyperbaric Healing Treatment Center to offer HBOT for any patient who needs treatment. The opening of Hyperbaric Healing Treatment Center has been Erika’s dream. Her passion is healing patients, and she believes this is her calling.
